"There is a fine line between survival horror and action with horror elements thrown in. The first Dead Space did a fantastic job of keeping things tense and scary while keeping the action intense and difficult. The earlier Resident Evil games were able to do the same thing. So far, it looks like the newest entry is a balls to the wall action game that happens to feature horror elements. Capcom has the freedom to make any changes they want - if this works for them, then go for it. But, long time fans are probably going to look forward to a day when the series goes back to its roots and leaves the action packed explosion-fest behind. "
