Use a real guitar to play a Guitar Hero-like game. The game teaches you to really play the guitar.
Why bother with GH?
onto rockband and it will be complete you already are basically learning the drums and singing better add in the guitar and your band can practice without being loud and in the comfort of a living room is this coming out on the ps3/or 360 ?
Is this real? If it is, I have to get it.
But has to be fake. How would it ever sell? Think about it only people who own any kind of guitar with pickups will be in a position to but it. And I don't think that is a huge number.
It will most likely be a PC program with an adopter to allow for pickup reception. I know there are programs out there now that allow that, not sure of the names. This interface looks to be targeted towards GH players who want to learn Guitar for real with a familiar interface.
Except for about the same price as a fake GH guitar you can buy a basic beginner's guitar with pickups. Sounds like a win-win to me.
I will buy an electric guitar for this game!!!! Hope its actaully real. edit: did a search on IGN... no Guitar Rising.... but who knows. edit: Went to there website, looks like its legit... i hope it is.
It just have a beauty interface, but for real, get Guitar Pro if you want to learn Guitar like this (by Tabs), this will do you the same, on a very familiar way. Still, I would like this in Rock Band, the guy above said right, you already learn the real drums and, well, singing, just the guitar/bass and this is the way to go.
i think it would be sweet the better you get at the game the better your band will actually sound when they play the real thing also you could practice songs for the bands you like to get the right sound for your band
nice. should suit my fender and warlock just fine. very interested in this. hope its real
if i can break myself away from my studio long enough lol ill give this a bash.would be sweet being able to play a game with my own axe.
I saw a similar game previewed at the electronics trade show just recently. You hooked up a guitar to your computer through an interface, it had different skill levels where you actually learn how to play the song note for note. The cool thing was you could use music from your music collection. I can't remember the name but it seemed pretty cool and not just a copy cat of GH.
Hmm if I'd probably get it if I had enough money for a guitar :'(
Beginner electric guitar doesn't cost any more than GH3 guitar.
