Thank you. I came here to hear about chickens and almost left disappointed. Who approves things without looking at them first?
this is my most anticipated game of 2013, except maybe vs 13 hopefully.
I always loved the fact that the tales series gives fans what we want instead of drastically changing the series with every iteration.
Agree. That's why right now i luv tales series more than FF.
Next year, in terms of ps3 jrpg we got ni no kuni, tales of xillia (hope xillia 2 too), the witch and 1000 army, kamipara (from disgaea team), tokitowa / time and eternity, FF X HD (hopefully), FF versus (if this game still alive), KH HD 1.5, neptune v, atelier totori, and more. Also, i hope atlus will give us a lot of info about persona 5 ^^
Yes... Persona 5... That game has me more excited than anything else even over Versus XIII now (since Enix refuses to give any info on it.)
Persona 5 is my second most anticipated JRPG after FFvs because I'm really tired of the high-school setting with teenagers killing demons but I know the gameplay and story are going to be second to none. I wish Persona 5 went the more mature way like Catherine or Persona 2. Persona 2 still had the high-school setting but the protagonist was a reporter instead of a bunch of teenagers.
Wait, whats kamipara, havent heard that game? I know all the other JRPGs except that. Anyways, if its from the Disgaea people, its gonna be one hell of an RPG >:D
Damn, Japan is getting Xillia 2 before we even get the 1st.. I cant complain tho cuz im grateful to be getting it at all.. Day 1 buy for me & hopefully others do too so they bring over pt 2..
Shoot, definitely not as bad as Trails in the Sky fans getting the first in the series and still waiting on the second even while Japan has like... The fifth one now or something? Lol Though I know Xseed has their hands full as is, and with a title like that the translation times must be enormous.
idk about the translation times being too big.. Its all done through computers with edits to make the translations readable for scripts.. Voice actors can knock out a game like that in less than 3 months.. Its the business aspect i think that takes longer.. Publishers have to go through quite a few hoops to localize games after theyve been out in other regions.. Thats what pisses me off too cuz had they worked out Tales of Xillia 2 simultaneously, we mightve got it alot sooner.. If we get it.. Theyre going to have to do the whole process all over again for it & hiring the same voice actors for a sequel will cost em money...
@DivineAssault - Oh no, I would definitely understand translation time not being a huge deal for normal games, but from what I've heard there is a TON of text. Their Vita game which is I think the fifth installment in Japan apparently has enough "voiced" text to fill the entire hallway at the company in stacks and stacks of script lol. I do own Trails in the Sky, though haven't played too much of it. It's mainly just what I've heard. :] As for Xillia it does suck that all the crap publishers need to go through in order to bring a game over. I've definitely been looking forward to that game since before Tales of Graces F even came out. Can't wait for a chance to try it out when it does hit NA.
Loved TOGF gameplay. Xillia looks crazy too.
