Gravity Rush director Keiichiro Toyama hinted at a sequel to the game just a few months ago. He told his Twitter followers in June that he’d like to make a follow-up rather than a new title, if given the choice.
Congrats on the Game of The Year win Keiichiro Toyaman. Well deserved and I can't wait for the next one.
I say this allot but... SOLD!
New gravity rush: Instant buy
I am waiting to get a Vita still but when I do Gravity Rush will definitely be a game I pick up.
You won't be disappointed, the soundtrack alone is amazing.
My god.. my wallet's already empty... Take my first born child........... XDD
You wish ahahah that will never happen!! Let the Gravity Rush 2 come! Hell Yeah
PS VITA purchase
Kat is one of my new favorite characters. Such a lovable character
Aw yeah, bring it on!
A lot of "journalists" gave the game a low score, but I LOVED Gravity Rush! Such an awesome freaking game. Kat was a cute and lovable main character, environments were pretty nice, music was fantastic, gameplay was great (except for a few when trying to hit enemies while floating in gravity, which can easily be fixed in the sequel), the story was fun for what it was, and it was overall a well done and fascinating new IP for a new handheld. I would LOVE Gravity Rush 2 (again, PS Vita exclusive), and if Kat does get announced for PSASBR, I'll be so happy that I'll buy all the Gravity Rush DLC (bought the Spy pack, and was gonna buy the rest anyway, but didn't have the money))
Congrats to Toyama-san and Gravity Daze GOTY win. Very well deserved. Gravity Daze 2 will rock! =D
Excited - I really enjoyed the setting and visual style of Gravity Rush/Daze. Get in. Vita needs more games like this. That said, I feel that a sequel needs to focus more on innovative ways to use the innovative mechanics rather than incredibly repetitive combat and time trials. Plus, stop taking our powers away and instead give us exciting different ways to use them please Studio Japan...
Considering that a lot of plot points were left open by the end of the game, a sequel in the works is not that surprising at all.
GR won TGS game of the year? How come i dont see any articles about it?! Anyways, good job Keiichiro Toyama and his team, the game deserves at least an award or two :D Cant wait for GR2 and how the story progresses >:)
I wouldn't mind Gravity Rush getting a anime series as well.
I usually dont like anime but if they make one bout GR, just might watch it. Also as long as it doesnt take away to much story from the sequel or they could base it off the first game :D
Gravity Rush/Daze deserves this more than any other handheld game that released this year and that includes Nintendo franchises. Second place should go to Little Big Planet Vita and the best indie game would be Sound Shapes or Mutant Blobs on the Vita.
More Kat please.
