looks very cool. I wonder why the little guy has different heads/masks all the time.

is this using the Little Big Planet engine?
xtreampro  +   762d ago
The engine used to make LBP1,2 and Kart can't achieve the type of lighting shown in this game. The graphical fidelity of this game alone shows that it's running on an engine far superior to the LBP engine.

Unless MM did a massive overhaul over night and sent it to Japan which is unlikely.

Why do people keep saying that? Just because the guy moves like a puppet doesn't make it LBP. It's not even the same company or the same country or the same game.

I feel slow, but I didn't know this was a Blu-Ray until Amazon sent me an email a couple days ago. If they actually said it when it debuted at gamescom, then I missed it, but I'm lookin at it completely different now, knowing that it's a "full"game.

What makes the difference between a disc game and a downloadable one?

Once its on BluRay its good, if its not its bad?
There are even full retail games now downloadable...
KwietStorm  +   762d ago
I didn't even hint at that being the case, but if it were a PSN game, it wouldn't be $60. Also, as I said, it's a "full" game instead of an "arcade" game. I just didn't know it was a disc game. Feel me?

See this is 2-D gaming done right..Nintendo just releases the same crap after crap of games that could have been made on the N64 just with slightly better graphics.

Sony innovates whenever they take on a genre that might be old fashioned..the style and gameplay for this game looks fun as hell. It's like a fully realized Littlebigplanet set of levels with quick and quirky gameplay. Can't wait to add this to my library of games
