BioWare Needs to Look to Mass Effect 2 to Revitalize Dragon Age

Leviathyn.com | You can’t please everyone. That’s one of the harsher realities faced within the gaming industry. In many ways, gamers treat developers and the games they create with a very Goldilocks and the Three Bears- type attitude; “This one is too streamlined!”, “These character models are pathetic!” And, of course…”This one is just right.” (BioWare, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

No. No. No. They need to look at Dragon Age: Origins (plus the explansion) and their older games (like Baldurs Gate) for inspiration, not ME2. I'm not sayign ME2 was a bad game, I just want them to take inspiration from elsewhere.

I really do hope they are truly taking fans feed back to heart, because I want to fall in love with the series again. When Dragon Age 3 releases, it'll have been in developement for about 3 years, so I have faith they'll do wonders with the time they have.

They looked to ME2 with DA2... That did not work out so well...

I think they should look to Baldurs Gate, Dark Souls, and Dragons Dogma for some inspiration.

Though, Bioware has stated they have debates on whether GTA is an RPG or not, so I don't expect them to look to the proper areas...

Why...to see how to make your game play more like a third person action game then a third person RPG with action elements.

The one thing I hated about ME2 was the way they got rid of the cool down weapons and replaced them with thermal clips...a typical ammo system not before giving a crappy unlogical excuse why they changed ammo systems.

Bioware needs to get rid of EA to revitalize Dragon Age brand, my imagination tells me how hard money suckers work to bring back Mass Effect brand, i think they eventually get tired of thinking and make MMO
