Seth Killian hints at PS1-era character for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale

Seth Killian, the new Lead Game Designer at Sony Computer Entertainment America, has made several interesting comments that may hint at a PS1-era character reveal for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.

I'm pretty sure this character they'll announce is Crash! They've already made comments about him on the blog. if they announce a second character i'm sure it'll be someone from the final fantasy saga could be Squall, Tifa, Cloud or lightning. either way it should be cool to have them flesh out the cast.

It'll be cool if they announce the final six characters of the game and all the modes the total levels and leave the final boss or bosses out for us to find out.

we hear from the fans about -T-hat stuff all the time…trying to represent th-O-se characters and bring everybody out to sort of play and made explicit effort to not just -M-ake it about ps3 or even about ps2, definitely goes -B-ack to ps1 as well. you’ll know wh-A-t i’m talking about very shortly. I'd kill for U-1 from Gitaroo Man, although it's incredibly unlikely. :) I think most people would prefer Crash or Spyro.

Then gradually, more PS1 classics are announced to affirm what looks to already be a great game. Let's hope it's true!

Crash Bandicoot MUST be in this game, plain and simple. The other characters such as Snake, Sora, Cloud and Spyro are also must-haves but the original PlayStation mascot deserves to be in this game more than any other classic character (IMO)

Kat is very likely since the game is suppose to have 3 females.
Crash due to popular vote.
Big boss since other model was on ssb.
Last maybe Spyro or cloud.
