True. There have been quite a few horror titles announced recently, including Lunar Software's Routine. This could be due to Amnesia's commercial success, and I am happy that we will get more first person games that are truly scary.

Wait for a 50% off sale, honestly. It's not a bad game by any means, but it doesn't live up to their original Amnesia, let alone a game like SOMA.

I've heard mixed things about it. If you're heavily invested in Frictional's storytelling streak? Rebirth SEEMS like one of the best you'd get out of a game in 2020. Gameplay and some level design is where fans appear disappointed.

Frictional Games Releases Amnesia: The Dark Descent Source Code to Celebrate 10th Anniversary

From GameWatcher: "Publisher and developer Frictional Games has announced that it will release the source code for acclaimed horror game Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

Both Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs will go open source today, celebrating the original title's 10th anniversary."
