"Doom 3 was a huge leap forward for the series when it came out in 2004. There had been an eight-year gap since Final Doom had released before it, and the technology for shooters had leapt ahead since the days of that original id Tech engine. Another eight years have passed since Doom 3 came out, and gaming technology has once again increased exponentially. With Doom 4 not due out anytime soon, id is tossing Doom fans a bone by releasing Doom 3 as a HD edition, complete with some new features, extra levels and bonus goodies."
Github’s ‘Codes4Fun’ has released a really interesting mod for the BFG Edition of Doom 3. This mod adds HTC Vive and actual motion controller support to Doom 3, letting PC gamers experience id Software’s shooter in VR.
this game is amazing amazing experience in VR. I never had so much scary goose bump moment in VR or any previous game.
Looking for a multiplayer Horror game? Here are some affordable horror titles available now on Steam!
Doom 3 BFG Edition and Ultimate Doom have been discounted to just $2.50 each. The 2016 reboot of Doom is also on sale for as low as $19.99.
WOW WTF! The Ps4 and Xbox One version of Doom 2016 is $19.99 on Amazon Prime, but the PC Version is $46.95!! What a LOAD.
Definitely not buying this if it doesn't offer widescreen support on consoles.
The PC version has mods that allow you to hold your flashlight all the time, as opposed to having to cycle through 10 weopons just to find it clumsily. Also graphics mods have made it look amazing on PC, won't even look a fraction as good on consoles. Don't bother with this crap, the game design is archaic, with no flashlight attachment to guns? Give me a break.
Did you even read the article? Widescreen support and flashlight attachments are both confirmed for consoles.
yeah shut your trap, the game will be great. $40 for DOOM 1-3, the DLC, and The Lost Missions? yeah WELL worth it.
