The PC version of Assassin's Creed features four missions not appearing in the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions.
As such, the PC edition of the game is going under the name Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut. Ubisoft has confirmed it'll release in March.
4 more "just as the previous missions"-mission? I got bored half way through the console version and I just cannot see myself enjoying 4 more missions. This is the most overrated game of 2007.
maybe it wont be as bad this time around...
I agree. I stopped playing after the first few assassinations because it was simply more of the same; blend, gather intelligence, assassinate and then evade the guards. Meh.
Maybe fun gameplay? My guess is that will be saved for the sequel.
Anyways, why add all this to the PC? Why not just release it as DLC for the console versions? The PC specs for this game are completely insane and are worse than Crysis in some categories.
So they give exclusive content to the version of the game a signficantly smaller amount of people will be able to play because this game has insane minimum requirements, and those people will probably pirate the game anyways.
Ubisoft, I love how smart you make your business decisions, this better show up as DLC. Assassin's Creed almost sold 6 or so million copies on console, give a little to the people who actually support your game instead of wasting resources and backhanding the people that actually supported you.
4 misions? it's about half of the game ^^ just wow more boring assasinations :)
The only exclusive content i am willing to take over the console version is lack of bugs/glitches. I still havent picked it up. Most of players havent responded well to it so im' skeptical on this one. Maybe when it hits bargin bin.
who cares the game sucked bad anyway well it sucked compared to the expectations anyway- it wasn't that bad as a whole (some elements were quite enjoyable)
consoles are jokes thats why they gets no dlc
Hopefully one of the new missions is to kill all the damn beggars and freaks
Add this to a few mods and we might get a game out of this engine yet!!
