Isaac Wagner: "I have said it before and I will say it again; I always appreciate it when developers try to do something
different. 5th Cell have a reputation for being innovative and testing the waters with new ideas, particularly on the Nintendo DS with games like Drawn to Life and Scribblenauts. At first glance, Hybrid, their latest downloadable release doesn't look special in the slightest. It looks like a standard cover based third-person shooter with the most generic Sci-Fi setting ever. However, this is not the case and 5th Cell have tried to rejuvenate the third-person shooter genre with some intriguing ideas. While Hybrid as a whole is certainly interesting, it's rarely much more than that."
