FF then was still the best JRPG (pre 13) franchise with about 8 million world wide fans, and many millions still haven't chosen between a PS3 or 360

Bayonetta has sold about 1.5m and the following the dedicated following is very niche, and by the time it will come out it will have to contend with the PS4 and 720

also action fans still have GOW, MGS:R, Castlevania LoS 2 and Inafune's YAIBA.

Nintendo needs to do much more

Yes this very positive Nintendo news was handled by the online consumer as a Megaton. It has been many many moons since I have seen a single slice of great news taken so far. I am still confident that Nintendo supporters will have a blast partaking in the experience that is Bayonetta 2. Exclusively on the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system.

This for sure reminds me of the angry citizen outburst from the FF13 multiplat announcement

Yep it sure has been a long time since we haven't had a shocking announcement. The last one imo was Metal Gear Rising at E3 at MS's press conferance.

Wait .. Wasn't this a Xbox 360 exclusive ? ohh no i remember they acted like it was god send since it was similar to gow3 but not even close in quality,.

Yes I vaguely remember reading something like that, that it was way better than gow3 and that it was a better game.

I wonder what those people are thinking now :)

It's still a great game- whether or not it's better than GOW is debatable.
