Indeed, pretty obvious news. What I care more about is the release of this collection, as I have been waiting for it for quite some time. There has been close to no news on it for a long time, so if it's supposed to come out this year, they could have fooled me.
That was the first thing that came to my mind when I read the headline; When is the collection coming out? It has to be some time before Rising comes out right? Yet we haven't heard much about it. The demo being canceled is actually the first news we had about the collection for a while.
Obviously. The Xbox 360 version of the game was cancelled in Japan. Stupid idea, by the way. Though small, why cut out that piece of the pie when the game is already being made for that platform?
Yeah Metal Gear is a PS3 exclusive in Japan. Oh well, the rest of the world will enjoy Metal gear on Xbox though.

With that being said Platinum Games won't get backlash from "360" owners in Japan because there's very little of them and more than half probably own a PlayStation anyway, so they don't care.
