Funcom Q4 Revenues Fall 19 Percent

Age of Conan house Funcom suffered declining revenues during the fourth quarter of 2007, as well as increased operating losses.

Fourth quarter revenues were $1.75 million, down from $2.15 million during the same period last year, while group operating losses increased from $1 million to $3.1 million, "mainly due to increased cost levels related to the build up for the Age of Conan launch and exchange rate fluctuations". Nevertheless, the company said it was in a strong financial position, with cash reserves of $52.4 million. (Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, Industry, PC, Xbox 360)
