Nintendo Land is the Ballsiest Game Nintendo Has Ever Made

GenGAME writes: "Nintendo seems to be heavily banking on the success on the game that’s sure to be Wii U’s big flagship title: Nintendo Land. Not only did they spend a significant chunk of their E3 2012 presentation on the game, they’ve also brought elements from a number of their key franchises, past and present, and are poising this game to be the next Wii Sports. They’re so invested in Nintendo Land‘s success, they’ve even done the unprecedented: put the company’s name on it! If one of the first high-profile games to bear the 'Nintendo' name succeeds, Nintendo is sure to jump to perhaps unprecedented levels of popularity. But if it fails…"

The story is too old to be commented.

I think its cooler than wii sports at least..

Definitely. More diverse, more interesting, and some of its games could actually have a "hardcore" appeal.

Wii sports was okay, but is definitely and obviously a small bonus game intended to complement the system. Nintendoland looks to be a far more complete product and experience.
Maybe not enough to justify a full $50~60 game... but interesting nonetheless...

I guess it depends on how many of the games in Nintendo Land are really worth playing. Even if none of the games individually are all that complex or come off as a "big full" kind of game, if Nintendo Land as a whole can still provide me with 40+ hours of real entertainment, I don't mind paying.

What upsets me about the "negative" points... er, pointed out here is it has little to do with Nintendo. Why should a game maker be punished for choosing to make their game follow a certain visual aesthetic. At least not when people only hate it for not being "standard".

I'd rather have a graphically unique and fun looking game than another Fuse incident... where everything winds up looking the same.
