‘Heads-Up’ Game Store Update 12th September 2012

September by Jawad Ashraf – PS Store Team

Countries: AE, AU, GB, IE, NZ

Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Max Payne 3 – quite a lot of guns for the PS3 on PS Store this week. There’s not only guns, there’s also sporting action in the form of NHL 13 and a demo for FIFA 13, too.

However, this week’s batch of PS Vita titles are rather more placid. There’s Ecolibrium, a brand new discovery app where the aim is to create a balanced ecosystem of various plants and fantastical animals, and SunFlowers, a new title that lets you grow flowers to share with your friends.

PS Plus types also get a one week jump on the super-fine, super-cool, super-awesome Jet Set Radio! Released on Dreamcast way back in the day, the time has come to relive this great game. Stylish visuals, funky tunes and fun gameplay – Jet Set Radio is not to be missed. Even better, you get a reduced price on top of access before anyone else. (Battlefield 3 Premium Edition, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Ecolibrium, FIFA 13, Jet Set Radio HD, Machinarium, Max Payne 3 , NHL 13, PS Vita, PS3, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World)

Ridiculous prices on those DD games. Seriously this is why publishers will never get support needed to move forward with digital only, which is a good thing. No way will I ever pay £58 for a game.

Have they even said what the problem is? It's been a few weeks now.

They are very quiet about it. They are pretty much ignoring us, but when they do decide to comment its pretty much "no news, will let you know when we find out more".

No CS:GO again. My interest for this game has peaked and is now declining. It will take a special pricing for me to ever pick this game up from the PS Store. I am however happy to see Jet Set HD on the store, ON TIME and with a very reasonable PS+ price tag that I can't ignore. I missed the Dreamcast console all together and have only played this title a few times. I can't wait to finally own it!

And where is Double Dragon free for PS+ in EU? USA got it yesterday, it was promised to EU too on the blog, yet no show today.

You need to read more carefully. From the blog post you speak of "Double Dragon Neon (due later this month)."

So why later than USA? Counter Strike also 'would arrive later', we're 4 weeks after USA release on PSN and still no show.

SCEE is f*cking up lately.
