Hatsune Miku rocks Japan, goes live on tour (awesome video)

Having done the hard work of releasing the game and getting a No. 1 hit for the PS Vita, there's no rest for Sega's vocaloid queen who now has to tour in support of the title and encourage further sales. Like a trooper, she's out entertaining Japanese crowds, and there's the inevitable tour video to enjoy some brief clips of her live outing.

That's some awesome event..

3D-ish projection of water looks trippy as heck :D

I can't wait to rock the show

The game is awesome! One of the prettiest & flashiest games on the Vita, worth the $80 i spent importing it.

This new style of open air live concert is looking trippy. A little fuzzy to see her clearly but i guess it is the event that matters. The game deserves its sales & it should have been higher but even though Miku is super popular in Japan, the games are still niche.

Are the menus in english? Or is it just quite easy to navigate?

I'm in the mood for a music game and I'm really close to importing Diva unless they date DJMax Technika Tunes for NA soon.

I know I've heard good things about it but I want a player to player perspective.

Menus are in Japanese, but are still very easy to navigate. The only stuff that's in English are some of the song titles.

I'd highly recommend importing it. The only Japanese games were the language barrier is really an issue are RPGs. So if you want the best rhythm game ever made, import Project Diva F.

The menus are in japanese but there are little icons to show what the menu is. For example the AR mode has the words AR on it, the shop has a shopping cart, the Diva room has a house, the actual game is basically a music note. There is a lot of japanese but they make it so it is still easy to navigate around.

There are over 30 songs with 4 difficulty modes from easy to the insane extreme mode. Once you finish a song you get ranked & you can watch the music video. The songs are all catchy & the game looks very pretty. The colors pop out on the Vita's screen.

The AR mode is really neat. There are a few modes from using the AR marker to have Miku sing songs for you. The other is setting positions of your character anywhere you want & take photographs.

Be ready for a plethora of loading screens but each screen is a different picture that you collect & use as wallpaper. The loading is fast enough to not be tedious.

If you have played the previous Project Diva games you should be at home with the Vita version. It is prettier, flashier & more stuff happens on screen than in previous games. I am thouroughly enjoying it & is trying to attempt the extreme modes. If you are a fan of Miku & a good rhythm game i highly recommend it.

That's very impressive. The projection technology itself isn't something completely new but it's still impressive to see a character like Miku come to life.
