Unanswered Wii U Questions Heading Into This Week's Event
GameSpot - With just months to go before launch, Nintendo faces questions of price, release date, and launch lineup for new console; will the info come Thursday?

Well obviously, we've been wanting these answers since E3 2011 and every major event that Nintendo has been at, hoping that they'll announce something to get the hype built up.
It all comes down to the final answer at the end of this event for the one question thats been on most of our minds since last year..."Do I buy a Wii U at launch or do I wait" ...<dramatic music>
Yeah, but I'm somewhat hoping there's a little more to this event than just those announcements. Like new games to be announced. Retro Strudio's project or perhaps the new IP that people have been asking for. Something along those lines. Some really big announcement that probably should have been at E3.
I think nintendo is launching the wiiU in the wrong way. They really don't have a console seller. Should have launched with zelda or open world pokemon. ZombieU doesn't look like a system seller especially since it looks like a current gen game on a "next gen" platform and batman is already out on top of that they don't have black ops 2 or medal of honor right around the same time when they come out!
Not trolling I really want nintendo to show sony and MS they can take marketshare of the hardcore gamers. But.. If I hear about nintendo land again my head will explode.
My only question is.. Why am I buying a wiiU? I like the idea of nintendo going hardcore but I don't see much of anything I can't have on ps3 or pc.
For me I will buy a wiiU when they show better content. Maybe zelda.
what I'm hoping to see in this event is the specs I'm crossing my fingers that the Wii u is more powerful than the ps3 i wanna see more 3rd party games like RE6 and all the big games that coming out this holiday season and to finally see what retro studios is working on if Nintendo could do that for me I be happy
