Ever since we learned that there's a multiplayer, source-engine take on the Slenderman game in the works, I've been hoping see more of the game in action.
This is obviously not the actual model they're using. It says at the beginning it's just a test for the distortions you see upon encountering him. Anyway, cool to see a little bit of new content, even if it's not much. :]
Who knew the mechanics of slender would make for one of the creepiest games I've ever played
I don't see how a guy in a suit is scary. They should make him look more obscure and messed up.
It's the "resonance" he gives off to players when he's nearby which gives the scare factor. It's very similar to what happens to Henry Townshend when he is near a ghost in Silent Hill 4. Creepy radio static and the player's vision is washed over with a VHS filter is a good way to set up anything for a scare but I do agree that the monster design needs more work.....
Yeah I know what you mean I have the original game and I thought it was pretty scary the first time you play it but the actual Slenderman needs some work. Maybe give him long thin fingers and weird movements or something lol I dunno haha.
