Watch The Exclusive Trailer For NintendoLand's Balloon Trip Attraction

GI:
While the Wii U launch title Nintendo Land contains attractions centered around more notable franchises like Donkey Kong and Zelda, the latest attraction to be revealed is based on the 1986 NES title Balloon Fight. Largely ignored aside from a sequel on the Game Boy called Balloon Kid, a 3D mini-game in Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, and the game's fantastic music in Super Smash Bros., Nintendo has blown out the neglected game's original Balloon Trip mode into a stand-out game within Nintendo Land. With a graphical style similar to Kirby's Epic Yarn, Balloon Trip Breeze has players swiping the stylus on the GamePad to keep the balloon-strapped Mii aloft and dodging obstacles. While Balloon Trip Breeze is a single-player experience, Nintendo has yet to reveal whether Nintendo Land also contains a Balloon Fight-inspired multiplayer game. (NintendoLand, Wii U)

yep, I loved a game that was similar to this on superNES, it had a duel mode which was really fun.

I don't get why it's a wiiU game though, you don't need the TV screen at all.

The music was quite nice and the graphics reminded me of Little Big Planet. Looks fun. Not outstanding, but fun.

This looks like it's going to be a fun game. I wonder how deep each part of Nintendo Land will be. Will there be multiple goals to accomplish (think Wii Sports stamps) within each game? Will there be different difficulties? Etc.

I have my eye on this one.

Better come packed in. No way someone is gonna pay for this.

Then again Nintendo did release Pilot Wings for 3DS as retail & it was a tech demo.

It's not for me.

In fact i had a severe dislike for the mini-game bubble blowing thing in Mario Galaxy, so i def. know its not for me, but the graphics are cute and Im interested to see more puppetry style 2D graphics design in high definition.
