Black Ops II, Dishonored and more join MS Store 1600 MS Point, $10 coupon promo

XMNR: The Microsoft Store kicked off a new promotion last week where it gives a $10 store credit and a 1600 MS Points ($20) with select Xbox 360 games including Borderlands 2, Resident Evil 6 and more. The retailer expanded its offerings on Monday to include Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Assassin's Creed III, Dishonored and others.

kinda tempting but their shipping charges seem a bit high especially with sites like Amazon doing release date delivery on the big games for $1 or free if you are Prime.

Free shipping is high? Even if you go with faster shipping you still get $30 worth of stuff for free.

3-7 business days isn't exactly earth shaking fast when compared to Amazon's shipping. Yes you are getting $10 store credit and $20 XBLA pts but if you want that game day 1 you are out of luck and if you pay $17 you can get it next day shipped.

I am not saying its a bad deal but there are trade offs to be made. I wish they had an instore pick up option being that I live very close to one of their stores.

Edit: I still may just take a flyer on one of these titles to see how well they do with shipping, etc... The offer as I said..tempting. :)

They do have same day release for certain titles that are big enough.

Glad to see Microsoft is competing when it comes to buying games online. I pre-ordered Halo 4 from them and got a $20 credit for my next purchase. These are great deals!
