If I didn't know anything about the game, THAT certainly wouldn't have sold me when I saw it yesterday during football. If your going to do a live action movie spend some money on it like Halo and ME3 did.
And for the record, it is awesome, and if you think otherwise, you are totally missing the point, which shouldn't need to be explained.
I think its recommended that video game adverts should stick to actual in game footage. That way everyone knows what they are getting when they hand over their cash and there will be none of this "that wasnt in the game" moments.
In this particular game though Gearbox could of just shown the #a Wim a weh a wim a weh# trailer.
I am not disappointed in the commercial as it is pretty entertaining, looks fun and it makes it look like a commercial from the past! :) and for 30 seconds (well...29) it's fine.
I would have loved to see stuff flying out of enemies (equipment) and probably each classes unique skill to show it off :) oh...and a live-action CLAPTRAP :DD!
The only thing I might agree upon is that it doesn't really show the game's charm because of the art direction the game uses which is difficult to pull off without being in-game.
Still better than what Call of Duty can pull off =P (especially reading someones comment as they can be poking fun at Call of Duty as well with it :p which seems like it could be true)
