Halo 4 is not coming to the PC - System Requirements Are Reffering to X360's Accessories

MS is great at telling people they want to support PC gaming, but they haven't actually done anything except give GFWL. Kind of wish they hadn't tried to do anything after that.

Why would they all of a sudden put out Halo on PC? No Halo games this generation have made it to PC, seems like a given that Halo 4 wouldn't make it either. Brains people, use'em.

Does anyone not realise that if MS placed all of their games on PC, their would be no need for an Xbox console. i kind of prefer console gaming, also why does no one tell or ask Sony to put their games on PC or give them shit about it .only MS has to put up with this BS every game.

unlike microsoft sony actually makes PC exclusives ever heard of Planetside or everquest. why doesn't microsoft make PC exclusives instead of just giving the same game i can get on a xbox?

Fine Sony does make some PC exclusives , but thing is everyone is always asking MS for their console exclusives to be released on PC WHY .

the reason they dont make PC exclusives because they cant even dish out enough xbox exclusives. I think MS gambled on 3rd party studios too much this gen and as it worked out for the first year or so it became pretty obvious that MS had nothing else to show for themselves after that besides kinect. If MS wants to continue doing well and be relevant next-gen they need to heavily invest in more studios producing xbox only games then they can worry about the PC.

Well Microsoft has no need to compete for the gaming community in the pc space as Mac and Linux gaming are very small in comparison.

If that were to change then we would see them try again but I wouldnt mind couple year old halo port to pc every now and then. Say Halo 3 on Windows 8 in 2013 through Xbox Live?

They might use games to kick off the Windows 8 ARM edition launch. Even Xbox 360 or 720 games with delayed ports to pc would be welcomed by many.

It will would nice to see them release a PC version. Just to see the outcome of it. who knows if they ever do and it does well. we could be looking at PC and X360 Halo releases. i don’t think its impossible but Halo has always been a good selling point for X360’s which is why it sells a lot and GOW as well.

But of course they are always going to focus on consoles first.

Though I wouldn't mind the idea of Cross platform play with PC users. PC user generated content(Helmets chest gear effects like pestilence, electric, snow etc.) Anything they create really/ mods. Console VS PC players that sorta thing. Imo I think that would be cool.

every game comes to pc eventually, emulators for every console ever made up to psp/ps2 are already working near perfectly, a ps3 emulator was developed and working in russia and got shut down by sony real fast, but that means its already nearly here!

lol there is a reason they r not making port for pc..

gears 1 and halo 1-2 came for pc make all the rest multi on pc and there is no reason to buy an xbox since all the other "exclusives" i play them on my pc except forza wich is trully exclusive.

After years of enduring MS's promises to support the PC, it's hard for to believe anything anymore. Even Windows 8 is a nothing more a move into the mobile market, NOT about MS's "dedication" towards PC gaming. X Box LIVE service in Windows 8 and the only game that was demoed for the new OS was only to show MS tablets' capability.

MS is very aggressive to defeat or dethrone Sony in console dominance, that's why they don't release any Xbox IP anymore lol... Plus piracy on PC is insanely high at rate..
