Non-Fiction Gaming staff discuss what game(s) they would like to play in the eSports scene. The game may not even be competitive and they don't have the skills but one can dream right? What game would you turn pro for?
I can't think of any game I would turn pro for. I play games to have fun and relax. I like to play whatever I feel like whenever I feel like it. Sure, I can get competitive every now and then, trying to win a race on iRacing or a match in SC2, but to go from there and to becoming a pro at it. It just sounds like it'll suck the fun right out of it since the time and effort needed to become a pro quickly turns it into a job. That's why I stopped raiding in WoW. It felt like a job putting in all those hours and managing in-game schedule with RL schedule just to get some fancier looking pixels and bigger database entries on some server. The whole epeen thing doesn't do it for me either. It was neither fun nor relaxing, so I stopped. In short, I'm a recreational gamer, not a competitive gamer. I have nothing against competitive gamers though. If someone gets a kick out of watching his K/D ratio increase because he just turned me into pink n00b mist in BF3 - more power to him! :)
None,i just like to play games for my own fun.
