Tomb Raider a New IP? Wow these guys don't have a clue what new IP means.
Mac is OK  +   585d ago
Also, Star Wars 1313...
DeadlyFire  +   585d ago
Sadly they probably never played a Tomb Raider game before. That's the thing about corporate news journalists. They don't even study the culture that they work with.

@Mac is OK

Would you consider any Star Wars game as a new IP? I aint sure... :/
WeskerChildReborned  +   585d ago
Yep, looking forward to both Last of Us and Beyond two souls.
LOGICWINS  +   585d ago
Watch Dogs owned @ E3, so I'm most looking forward to that!
BootHammer  +   585d ago
Probably the best E3 surprise =b
GrahamGolden  +   585d ago
last time i remember the last of us owned watchdogs since it won the most awards and best e3 show

while watchdogs got only 1

noting confirm about watch dogs that it is suspicious to get excited for. it could be next gen game which or current gen which would be awesome or PC.

Ni no Kuni looks great too! Definitely unique...
Relientk77  +   585d ago
Yea, Ni no Kuni is my #1 game for 2013 right now, I cant wait to get it
guitarded77  +   585d ago
I hate it when that happens... n4g is bad about not posting or double posting. The authors list is pretty good. I'm also excited for Ni No Kuni and The Last Guardian. But Tomb Raider is NOT a new IP... they are reinventing the IP, but it is NOT a new IP.

Ni no Kuni is not a "new" IP since it was first released on the DS two years ago.

The Witch and the Hundred Knights is a new IP however (and is already pre-ordered along with Ni no Kuni)

Great List of Titles. The only other title I would add to this list is Remember Me.
BootHammer  +   585d ago
We are looking forward to that one too =) It's going to be a really cool year with the all the new IP's and next gen buzz. Hopefully there will be some exciting new franchises for the Wii U as well in 2013.
JellyJelly  +   585d ago
Star Wars 1313 is most probably a next gen title. Judging by the demo shown it couldn't be done on current gen consoles. I don't believe it's been announced for any platforms yet and it hasn't even got a release date either. Nice fantasy journalism.

When you have a article title "new ips for" its pretty much a given that Sony's titles will top that list seeing how they make a LOT of new ips during each gen.

Having a hard time understanding how someone can start a sentence about a game with:

"This new addition to the popular series"

In a story about new IP's.
BootHammer  +   585d ago
Sorry about the confusion guys. While TR is vastly different from anything the series has ever seen, you are absolutely right in that it's a reboot not a new IP. Our mistake ;)
CDzNutts  +   585d ago
This was a perfect list.
black911  +   585d ago
These better not be in order except for number 1 lol.
dcortz2027  +   585d ago
The Last Of Us and Beyond Two Souls will both be banging new IP's. The Tomb Raider reboot a new IP? LOL!
wastedcells  +   585d ago
This list is funny. New ip and starwars or tomb raider don't mix lol. Could have replaced those games with other real new IP that look amazing but ok. Sony is owning the new IP this gen so I hope that doesn't mean that the PS4 will launch will a ton a sequels. Well I wouldn't mind that really cause the games are great but I love getting a new console with a fresh new IP in the launch window
Acquiescence  +   585d ago
