Final Fantasy Type-0 Possibly Moving Abroad

G.R. Bradley at Rant Gaming discusses Project Crystallis, a fan-based organization to show Square Enix how interested fans are in localizing Final Fantasy Type-0 within Europe and North America, as well as reveal more information on the release of Final Fantasy Versus XIII. (Final Fantasy Type-0, Final Fantasy XV, PS3, PSP)

" The story is set to follow the Fabula Nova Crystallis mythology, but is not set within the same universe as Final Fantasy XIII. "

Hopefully with the amount of time they've spent on it and the amount ot changes it's went through it wont even relate it to that crap anymore.

I hope to god this movment works, I would love to see Squares reaction from it

dude honestly. what does it matter what mythology it follows? the characters are different so who cares.

there are games based off of our universe that suck and are good, does that mean all games should stop because some werent liked?

Versus uses the same mythos as well so it doesn't matter. you can't remove that mythology.

and i just hope this game gets translated even if its just english subs and japanese voices.

Put it on Vita and give it some trophies.

Don't really understand why they haven't already localised it. It's like they don't want money.
A lot more people would be excited to have type Zero than FFXIII-3.

I agree. I think they would sell a lot more copys of Type Zero than XIII-3.
Here's hoping the petition works!

Maybe, if the gaming gods are good to us, Square Enix is converting Type-0 for the Vita. In reality, I just hope they release the game over the PSN.

good, i'm keeping PSP for this game :)
an HD version on VITA would be cool thing, let's see what TGS is bringing us.

just give us a Final Fantasy game for vita with trophy support
ForRealz17  +   870d ago
Yes, just port it to the Vita.
Parappa  +   870d ago
There is no point in putting it on the Vita as it would just be a waste of money. It was announced for PSP and should appear there. Besides, nobody bought a Vita anyway since it has no games.

I really don't see why square hasn't localized they have localized every other big ff title fairly well apart form that whole ff 3 being 1 thing but that was a looooooong time ago, this is silly square do it localizing wont cost as much as you will get back.

If retail costs is a big concern (as stated in the article), then just release this game for digital download only. That way both PSP and PSV owners can get a localized version of it.
