I am torn on this. While on one side, I don't understand the need to put horrible attempts at multiplayer in almost all video games, I am also seeing how rare it is to find a good single player game that I can replay.
I just bought prototype 2 and Darksiders 2, it's a good example of money wasted. A weekend.. £80.. I don't think that is right at all. I will never touch them again.
