'Only In Battlefield' Video Entry Pays Tribute To The Rumored Dinosaur DLC

DSOGaming writes: "There were a lot of rumors for a Battlefield 3 Dino DLC when the game was released. Battlefield fans kept dreaming for the moment they could fight a T-Rex, as there were some things hinting at such a DLC. Of course and we are talking about the dino easter eggs, as well as some custom wallpapers that were made by the developers themselves. Unfortunately though, here we are today without any Dino DLC in our hands. And since DICE is running a new ‘Only In Battlefield’ video contest, a team decided to pay tribute to those rumored dinosaurs. Enjoy the video!" (Battlefield 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

you know if EA had any sense. Dinos Could be to battlefield what zombies are to COD.

agreed but a little more unique since dinos arent in very many games anymore where zombies are in a ton now. def wold give them the upper hand imo but at the same time it would be much more difficult to do than zombies since not all dinos appear or act the same

i would def buy day one though and i havent touched battlefield 3 since the first month it launched

dude i have yet to buy battlefield, i don't really buy much shooters these days. but this could certainly peak interest alot. imagine the potential, raptors running rapid through the metros ripping soldiers apart, having to use tanks & jets to take down 4 or 5 huge t-rexs. the possibilities are endless.

same here. i would play the game again if it had dinosaurs. haven't touched it since last year. everytime it's in the news it's about something unpleasant.

Exactly, imagine raptors running around everywhere.... Yesssssssssss.... Mwuhahaha...
john2  +   261d ago
Seriously now, that would be awesome. Raptors vs tanks. Okay, it's not a 'realistic fight' but the idea is simply amazing

Yeah! They should make this true before Activision thinks of stealing the idea...

Taking down a t-Rex in an Apache... Get to it DICE!

Rendering dinosaurs into the game world sounds like a TON of work. As much as i want there to be dinosaurs in BF3, i seriously doubt they'd put the sweat into it.

Well since EA want to make the fans happy! And they know that ALOT of people want BF3 Dinosours! They would definatly do it! BUT I DOUGHT IT comming for BF3! Agree to this comment if you think Dice/EA are making a dino mod for BF4 on next gen consoles, well it would make more sence! Because the next gen consoles will be waaaay more powerful than this gen and can render faster and handle more things at a time! So they want to have full advantage of the nxt gen consoles to make it the most Epic game yet!

Squad vs dinosaur deathmatch!

I would like jungle levels like the ones in BC2: Vietnam DLC... with no high-tech weaponery. Just a couple of squads surviving hordes of Raptors

And then, just as in L4D, as soon as the T-Rex & the other big guys start showing.... a single tank would spawn (better yet parachuted in) on different spots and even crates with more advanced weapons

So many posibilities
