Assassin's Creed III: players will love "terrific" Desmond payoff

Edge: "Speaking to us as part of our in-depth coverage of Assassin's Creed III, the biggest project in Ubisoft history, creative director Alex Hutchinson insists that players will be delighted with how Desmond's story is tied up at the end of Assassin's Creed III." I didn't hate Desmond, it was just hard to like him thqt much when such badasses like Ezio and Altair were around, Connor seems like a boring character from trailers released so far, so it's an eaiser task for Desmond to impress people this time..

Do we get to torture him slowly?

I don't have any connection to Desmond. He's the crux....but not strong enough character to care about....mostly becauce the series had 2 games too many. Diluting the story arc.

Asscreed3 will need to really be amazing to feel like there rel closure.

Ubisoft....just give me a new pop game from the 2004 series, though I also liked the recent pop, it isn't as good as the earlier series.

While Desmond himself isn't the most exciting character I always thought it was interesting that the true story took place in the future. And some scenes with Desmond (begining and ending of AC2) I've found fun to play. I hope they go more in depth with him this game.
