The Top 7… Fantastic sequels to forgettable games

GR: It’s not enough to just come up with a great idea for a game--you need equally great execution if you want to succeed. But sometimes, getting it exactly right the first time can be a tall order, as developers struggle to come to grips with new technologies or unproven concepts. Luckily, there’s such a thing as a second chance--because without these sequels, we might’ve missed out on some truly awesome titles. (Killzone 2, PC, PS3, Street Fighter 2, Timesplitters 2, Wii, Xbox 360)

I wouldn't describe the first Street Fighter as forgettable, solely for the fact that it was popular in the arcades due to the pad system it had. That alone made it a quite memorable game, despite it not being a particularly good fighting game .
