Dishonored Hands-on Preview | El33tonline

Oliver at El33tonline writes:

"Dishonored is a game that has very quickly begun to shine brightly on gamers’ radars thanks to its promise of choice and consequence, as well as opportunities to make use of a wide range of diverse, fantastic (and fantastical) gameplay abilities. Dishonored has also drawn attention because it’s so easy to describe to hardcore gamers - “It’s Thief meets Assassin’s Creed” or “It’s Bioshock set in the 1700s… with magic!,” you might hear someone say.

Dishonored is also a game that can be brute-forced and broken. After admiring the beautifully realised city of Dunwall and its amazing mix of colour and architecture with hints of a watercolour aesthetic, and after playing around with some of the incredibly useful and fun magic abilities, I set about my task of wrecking my own experience to put to the test the developer’s assurance that you can play in any way you wish." (Dishonored, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
