Ubisoft Giving Away Assassin's Creed

Ubisoft is offering the first Assassin's Creed absolutely free. (Assassin's Creed, PC)

amazing game

I wouldn't say amazing, but it laid some great foundations for the future. Assassin's Creed 2 redeemed the series for me, but I haven't purchased a single Creed game since the first one. I borrowed them off a friend. I may purchase Assassin's Creed 3.

So you're a leech.
Reverent  +   592d ago
Moby, what's wrong with borrowing games from friends? Seriously gunna nitpick about that...?

Whatever, it's cool they are giving it away but the first game is extremely repetitive. If they are doing this to attract more potential customers, one of the sequals would be a much better option (likely not for free, but at least at a good discount). Just my opinion.

Over 60 purchased games for my ps3, many more purchased off the ps store and I let my friend gameshare all my stuff... No, I'm not a leech, but me and my friend like to borrow games we wouldn't normally purchase off each other.

It has gained Ubi a potential buyer for AC3.

I wouldn't celebrate just yet, I was able to add it to my cart and check out but I'm still waiting for it to process the serial code or unlock key. It won't let me download it either until that's done I guess.

Same... I guess we missed it... >.>

I'm pretty sure somebody fucked up and it wasn't supposed to be free cause I ordered it and checked out almost two hours ago and I still can't download it, it still says processing serial code or unlock key.

EDIT : here's a screencap to prove I was able to order and check out.
