So excited for this game, just like I was when Sacred 2 was announced for consoles. Hearing that PS3 is the lead platform makes me feel good as well because while I loved Sacred 2 on PS3, Asceron did as well as they could porting the game to consoles, but that's what it was.....a direct port of the PC version with console controls. So the PS3 version certainly has it's share of performance issues, namely a rediculous amount of screen tearing. This won't be an issue now.

There's supposed to be a multi-player walkthrough at a press conference at PAX, so I can't wait to see that.

The one thing that's got me slightly down about Sacred 3 news, is that the previews so far don't seem to be mentioning an open-world like Sacred 2. One preview specifically made it sound like it was more level/instance style based. I hope this isn't the case. Sacred 2's open world was incredibly impressive and fun to explore. It has to be about twice the size of Oblivion in terms of virtual square miles.

It's funny.....now this gen, the Sacred series for me has TWICE filled the isometric ARPG gap left void by other game I wanted but never came to be. Sacred 2 filled the void left by a PS3 Champions of Norrath which SOE foolishly left open. And Blizzard is seemingly in no rush to get Diablo 3 on consoles, or to even let console players know for sure if it's even coming, so Sacred 3 is now stepping in once again to grab my $60 that could have went to another developer if they had just chosen to give gamers what they want. Their loss is Sacred's gain.

Wow I didn't know this was in the making. I was under the impression the game bombed sales wise resulting in prolly no sequel. The expantion was never released for it either. This is fantastic news and I hope people will support this one better. Sacred 2 was one of the coolest dungeon crawlers. Hope the skill tree is more complex and offers alot of customization. Hope its not commin too soon cuz I'm alittle occupied slavin over diablo3 since the new game changing patch was released.
