Nier is one of the most important games of this generation.
i agree FOREVER.
Nier was one of the worst games this gen.
I love this game! Definitely one of the most memorable experiences I've had this gen.
Nier was without a doubt one of the best games I've played in a LONG time, VERY underrated.
I feel sorry for people who didn't play this game, especially if they like stories that (almost!) make you cry. Omg... Well, I did cry actually. Also - best soundtrack ever!
Anyone who wouldn't even give Nier a chance is everything wrong with gaming today.
because like every JRPG that comes out this gen, everyone gives it a bad score and no one buys it.
Nier definitely top 3 RPG this gen.
Nier was alright. I LOVED the style of it and the atmosphere it created but the gameplay was pretty average, the world was empty, boring, and the story didnt get good until the end. I loved its variey though. Id say it was a decent rpg but not even in the top 5 imo. Lost Odyssey, Xenoblade, The Last Story, Tales of Vesperia, and Valkyria Chronicles are all far better. Still worth playing for rpg fans and maybe even for Zelda fans (kinda reminded me of Zelda with the art style of Ico). Sad it was the dev's last game i wouldve loved to see a sequel or spiritual successor (and wouldve loved to see cry on if AQ didnt cancel it).
And man than DAMN FISH! Part was seriously frustrating.
