According to multiple retailers, Electronic Arts have dropped the manufacturer’s suggested retail price tag for the Premium Edition of Battlefield 3, which was originally slated to be $69.99.

Generous? I paid $60 bucks in 2011 for BF 3 and now they have Premium set aside with full game for only $60 bucks. While those gamers who bought it last year still have to buy the DLC separate or get Premium. Its a nice way to treat your most eager and loyal consumers. Charging them $100+ bucks for a single game.
I know I will be waiting for Battlefield 4 Premium edition next time.
I didnt disagree with him but it's not always a good thing. For some games if you get them late the multiplayer is completely dead. I got war for Cybertron for a steal on Steam but tried to player multi and there were only like 40 people playing it at any point when I looked into it. Sure prob not a bad idea for Battlefield, it'll probably be going for years but with some games if you wait you miss out because everyone else moves on.
I dont see the big deal i bought bf3 and premium on day 1. Im not upset about it being cheaper now its like everything else in this world it gets cheaper with time. What about those people who bought battlefield 2, they must be pissed its less than $13 on amazon for the complete edition.........or not
They could have released this and completely forgot about MOH warfighter, played it at the gamestop expo earlier today, I was disappointed. and yes I did play the 2010 reboot and I actually liked it more than most people..
This is a fair price for someone new getting into BF3. I paid 110.00 for the same package at launch. I know EA can be greedy, but this honestly doesn't feel that bad. EA has quadroupled the number of official servers and the premium edition drops the same day as armored kill on xbox. So, for the cost of one new game, someone can get the BF3 full game, Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, and Armored kill. Plus, they still have Aftermath and Endgame coming. It's not like BF3 is the type of game that has no legs. I will be playing BF3 for a long time. Eventhough, I'm getting a few games this fall, I'll still play BF3. I've told a couple friends that don't have BF3 about his deal, and they are excited. I may even pick this up on xbox because I love the game, and I'm sick of getting party chat and game invites all day while I play on PS3 (in the no chat zone). I honestly don't think 59.99 for the full package is a rip off at this point. I welcome increasing the community and servers.
As a BF3 console player who is looking into buying a decent PC, this is great news. but it is a little BS to drop the price so soon, i mean, BFP released 2 months ago, and i see lots of low level players with it. (As in, they just bought the game and BFP for $90 +)
I don't know why people are jumping to conclusions like Battlefield 5 in 2014... 3 came out in October last year and the beta for BF4 will be coming out next year, so don't worry! This won't be like CoD!
