There are some Western creations—take Total War, for example—which do an amazing job of recreating Japan. Then there are other Western creations—say, Kill Bill—which do a wonderful job of riffing on Japanese pop culture. Then there's stuff like SimCity Social.
Kotaku: Earlier this month, SimCity Social players were teased with the information that a new land was coming to the game, but we didn't know exactly when that land would launch, or what it would be until now. The game has finally been updated, allowing players to unlock a new island and tons of new quests, all without breaking the bank.
I was fine until I saw the word "Simcity". While this is a different Simcity game altogether, I can't wait for the new one next week.
