The real problem with QTEs: Resi 6 vs The Walking Dead

QTEs ain't bad, it does two things:

1. puts action in your hands that you would otherwise be complaining about if it wasn't there (any GoW QTE are good points). Games that have sections that require "super quick" reflexes or extra difficult multiple-combinations in scenes need them or should be an alternative consideration (like the end boss in that Resistance Vita game)

2. Allows you to have a cinematic point of view without you missing much or having to resort to a cutscene.

QTEs are a tool, and like every tool it should be used properly.
