Capcom provides update on PC version and hints at DLC plans for Resident Evil 6
Capcom’s Christian Svensson has provided a new updated regarding the PC version, in addition to hinting at what their DLC plans, for Resident Evil 6.
(PC, PS3, Resident Evil 6, Xbox 360)
Maybe i was a little harsh in branding all there PC games bad ports but they're far from saints, i suppose it stems back to the earlier days, for instance the first 3 DMC games didn't run well at all, they were simply console games dump on a PC, controlling was a nightmare! they weren't optimised for PC at all, same goes for Onimusha 3
I picked up SFxT, as much as it was no were near as bad as DMC it just had niggling bugs that it just seemed they couldn't be bothered to fix.
Capcom ports just tend to have the stench of laziness about them, but as i said i've had bad experiences.
The fact that they're just getting round to it now is kind of a cheap shot as well
Capcom ports are really good at delivering where they need to, Plenty of settings, in game benchmarks, High performance so on so forth, But their DRM is notorious for being a kick to the groin.
I honestly think we have seem Capcoms darkest hours. So I think they do have a mountain to climb to even start to fix their reputation. Fortunately they are one of the best 3rd party developers for new IPs at the end of the gen imo.
man people can't take a joke or hint of sarcasm i guess. But seriously, capcom this gen isn't a saint on DLC part (looks at SF4, MVSC 3, etc...), you don't know if you should buy it first day or wait like 5 months later to get everything. Everytime you update the game just to play with people, they come out with new ones, making the one you just bought useless and you can't play the game. Can't they just allow you to play with anyone, just that you can't use those contents that other people pay extra for?

DMC 4 was optimized really well and ran at 100fps
RE5 ran well on my back then ancient 7600gs lol
If you tell me a few games that a huge group of gamers play and are straight dodgy ports to pc then i'll reconsider what you said.
