Review scores are poisonous

Andy Astruc sacrifices his sanity to explain the damaging effects of review scores on the industry and the unhealthy arguments that scores breed amongst an audience missing the point. (Call of Duty, Dev, Fallout: New Vegas, Industry, Obsidian Entertainment, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360)

I no longer trust any reviewers since the whole Gamespot debacle. Now I either watch someone play the game live on Twitchtv or I rent it from Gamefly. If I like it then I buy it.
