Brace yourselves, gamers. The torrent of high (and low) quality games that only comes round once a year is almost upon us. With Gamescom wrapping up earlier this month, the ultimate decision for any gamer come wintertime has broken back into our collective mind, through the stream of video and audio that flooded the internet from August 15th to 19th. That question is, of course, what to buy? It may seem simple on the face of it – purchase games made by big publishers/well known developers who make re-playable, fun, addictive titles on an annual basis. However, if thought is spent on the subject, it reveals itself to be a complex puzzle harder to solve than a 12-sided Rubix Cube.
#1. Assassin's Creed 3- Oct 30
#2. History Legends of War: Patton- Nov 6
#3. Port Royale 3- Oct 2
Winter starts December 21st. All the upcoming games in this article release this Fall. Just sayin'.
Most of the games I'm getting this holiday season aren't mentioned in this article. LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, The Unfinished Swan, Ratchet & Clank Collection, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Retro City Rampage, LittleBigPlanet Karting, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, Ragnarok Odyssey, Jet Set Radio HD, Far Cry 3, Persona 4 Golden, Snapshot, and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. These are just the games I want on day one. The rest of the games I want this Fall I'll get when they're cheaper.
The next 10 months seem to be packed full of great games.
