Papo & Yo Review | ProvenGamer

Morgan Park of ProvenGamer: Papo & Yo has me torn right down the middle. It’s a complete pleasure to watch, due to its incredible presentation, South American art style, and some unique puzzle design. Mintority should totally be commended for that, because it’s different. The primary problem with the game is actually playing it. Its clunky movement and AI inconsistencies make it a chore to play. These problems tainted what was otherwise an excellent experience. That being said, Papo & Yo tells a metaphorical story that is sure to have you in chills by the end. (Papo & Yo, PS3) 3/5

I have heard lots of mixed things on this game. Don't know what to do.

If you liked Ico, Flower, Journey, chances are you might like this one. That's my impression after playing it for an hour. It's cute, beautiful, mysterious. Definitely not a mayhem. Haven't encountered any task that feels like chore yet, like the article says.
