IAP - Is It Really For You and Me?

So, let’s start off with an overview on what I’m going to be covering here.

What is IAP anyway?

Well, Billy, IAP is short for “In-App Purchase”, but it’s actually a little more complex than that! IAP is a subset of what we call DLC or “DownLoadable Content”! This stuff is usually additional content for a game which, in some cases, allows you to unlock things in a game earlier or access what’s called “Premium Content”!

What is Premium Content, oh great and knowledgeable overlord?

Billy, so-called “Premium Content” are usually things that are already in the game that are unlockable through some insane amount of grinding and/or levelling. You typically cannot unlock all of it in the course of a normal game without paying real money and, in some cases, you can miss out on it completely unless you pay. (Android, iPad, iPhone, Mobile)
