Reports of Halo Reach's Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated

TLEHB writes: There was a bit of stink kicking up on the Waypoint Forums last night over an alleged conversation between a concerned Halo fan (Dave) and a member of Microsoft's Xbox Support team (Gary), in which Gary seemed to be under the impression that support for DLC in both Halo 3 and Halo: Reach would be stopped with the launch of Halo 4. I've copied in the conversation below as it was posted on Waypoint: (Halo: Reach, Xbox 360)

Halo reach was bad. The first month the game came out. There were only like 300,000 the 3 months dropped to 30,000. I got halo 3 late but when i got it in 2009. I stayed to 200,000 for a long time.

Cracking game reach is, I loved it and still do. When I can get on it to play....lol. Always got a game online, always loads of people playing.
Thing is you have to move on, so roll on Halo 4.
