GamesCom 2012: Dead or Alive 5 Preview (Strategy Informer)

From Strategyinformer.com: "The pressure on Team Ninja right now is probably immense. With studio head Tomonobu Itagaki gone – and under rather negative circumstances – the studio has the undesirable task of proving they can survive and thrive without him.

Looks like they cut the frame rate in half, just like gaiden 3. They need Itagaki & crew back. It looks good with the new shadows and all, but I think the doa 4 character style looked better.

The pre-fight intros are 30fps.

The fight runs at 60.

Anyway i kind of like the new style , but was never a big fan of DOA anyway , so i can understand the feeling

I'm ready. My favorite fighter....it was always more virtua fighter than tekken.....but still had a bit of the magic use teleportation I think is the only real fictional ability. Of course moves are not all legit....but super fun and fast!

The party/reversal system made the series stand apart....and the endowed ladies of course.
