Awesome news out of open world games I usually get a lot more hours out of the game then the publishers says. So 32, and half hours of content should equal 40+ for me.
Actually I rather enjoy the stories and have bought every title day 1 since the original. But the loading times are pretty poor and you do control a character in the animus limbo during load screens. And I'm sick of Devs counting gameplay out of all the shit little pointless bits in games which no doubt they are doing.
I thought your first comment was hyperbole, but then you essentially attempt to justify it by saying that the devs count the loading times as part of the gameplay time. I now believe that you're just insane. Unless you make it an effort to spend your time in the loading screen, the loading times in AC would make up perhaps less than 5% of the total time you're playing.
Actually no I didn't state that anywhere in actual fact I didn't give any indication of what part of the game I see as pointless gameplay. The loading screen comment was sarcastic I do apologise that obviously being a text paragraph being able to determine that can be difficult.
However Devs class find 100 feathers as 4 hours of gameplay at times, and things along those lines are in actual fact what my comment relates to, I have no doubt that I'll finish AC3 main and side story's if it has any in less than 10hours. But no that won't include looking for flags and rubbish as quite honestly I find that as dull as watching the wind blow the tree.
I wonder if there talking about completing everything. Because if they are. That's normal. I had that time for revelation trying to get all the achievements and doing viewpoints and crap. They better be talking about the story.
Actually its totally the opposite especially for open world games. I find I always get a lot more hours then the developers says.
And if your paying $60 for a game you shouldnt be in a rush to finish it. In a open world game You should be getting more hours out of it then the developers says. There is something wrong with you if your not.
what , so playing the way i like or good is just wrong ?.. it's normal to me , maybe because the games are tooo easy for me , it's not my fault , it's not like i want the game to finish in half the time >.< ..
So you're not buying a game because the marketing department (completely different from the people who made the game and said he was neutral) showed him killing more red coats than Americans? Seems like your principles are kind of shitty.
My brother always beat the other ones in a day, maybe 2 if he took a break. Good to see that this game will be much longer. I like games that take forever if they're good, and this definitely looks good.
wow just when thought the game couldn't get any better i get 30 hours of single player on top of a possible 40+ hour multiplayer, i cant wait for this game.
Going back to older saves and dying in some games, does not contribute to the total amount of playing.( wich is pretty obvious)But If you count all the re-runs and saves that some games don't give you "credit" for, a game like Oblivion and Fallout owe me a thousand hours of my life...
After that they generally fall into a repetitive cycle, grinding cycle, or simply loss focus of the main objective.
Some games need to be 20+ hours (RPG's, MMO's, etc...), but shooters, Action-Adventure, and other games are just fine in the 8 - 16 hour mark.
This will be like AC2 in that we finally get lotsa bang for our buck.
Hope multiplayer has had some love put into it - I'd like to spend some time in a polished, NON shooter MP for once.

We gamers always beat the times devs say.

you people just like to disagree >.< .........
If they show footage of Connor actually being neutral during the Revolutionary war i will buy it.
So far they have not.
If it was splashed across every trailer I'm sure it would kill the experience in the game.
Did it upset you when Ezio killed other italians ?
or non italians ?
What is the difference. Get off your high horse.
