Ys - Why XSEED May Be the Bravest Publisher in America and How You Can Help Them

XSEED hasn’t officially announced anything about localizing this title for a US audience, but if we all hope hard enough, clap loud enough and maybe tweet at them without being annoying, it could happen. In the last two years we’ve gotten FIVE Ys games from these guys, three of which we’d probably never have seen. We’re catching up to having the entire series available in English and finally getting it the recognition it deserves. Please do yourself and the industry that so desperately needs new, different games a favor and support XSEED’s project. Dust off your PSP and pick up physical copies or from PSN and Steam. Let them know how much you enjoy these games and how badly you’d like to see Ys IV come to the states. And if you go for the PSP versions, hunt down the Premium Editions. XSEED put together a beautiful package for each game including soundtracks, a cloth map for Ys Seven and some gorgeous boxes to put on your shelf. (Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, PSP, XSEED Games, Ys Origin, Ys Seven, Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, Ys: I & II Chronicles, Ys: The Oath in Felghana)

went through quite a bit of trouble to get those Limited Editions. I thought they looked really nice, especially if you put all of them next to each other.

I've enjoyed a lot of their games over the years that is for sure.

@darkfanboy, I know you will come trolling and I dont care. You are ignored and blocked for a reason and no matter how many alt accounts you have, you cant take my last bubble for something I have never done

I bought Ys Seven and The Oath of Felghana from PSN to play on my Vita. Fantastic games, both of them. It'd be a real shame if Ys IV didn't make it stateside. If I had a twitter account I'd be all over it.

I'm a huge fan and I have been supporting xseed as well as the ys series. I bought all three premium editions when they released here in the states. I purchased a vita for tree of celeceta and now I know what finally happened to it. I hope they still do release it for the vita.

I really like XSEED too! They localize games that probably would have never been localized.

Bring us Ys Celceta XSEED!

XSEED has been one of my go to publishers for unique games this generation. The Ys series, Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Corpse Party, and now The Last Story.

I have no doubt that XSEED will bring Celceta to the states, they are one of the few companies that listen to their fans.

I didn't even know about XSEED until I re-got into JRPG's back in June and starting reading everything I could about all the ones I've missed out on over the years.

I've been wanting to get Y's 1&2 for DS for a while.

any good ?

XSEED are one of my favorite publishers and I have had no regrets buying any game with XSEED on the box (or download). They take risks and I hope it pays off for them.
