If you’re wavering on whether or not to get it, the fact that you can make your own Transformer might help you decide. Seriously.
Hot damn! And here I thought I'd be using that money I put in my PSN account last weekend would go toward the R&C collection.
EDIT: and, of course, Legasista looks pretty damn interesting. A great update for the PS3. Shame Sony forgot about their newest handheld. Again.
doesnt matteranyway i love CS.
From what I've seen from the latest videos, it's classic CS with a fresh coat of paint which I think is a good thing for this series. Plus the PS3 version has Move and keyboard & mouse support!
yeah im buying a mouse and keyboard for it if I dont like the dualshock controls.
Im really excited. Ive been playing since 1.6 on PC. even had the original on the original xbox.
I mean, I don't care either way, as I can kill anyone with hip fire or aiming or a pistol or assault rifle but it baffles me that it won't have iron sight aiming?
Lol have you ever played counter strike?! Lack of iron sights baffles you?
Oh my days.....I'm sorry but I can't even begin to explain what's wrong with your post mate. Needless to say...

All in jest btw ;)
I wanna see what its like to play on the PS3 with a keyboard and mouse.
However, I must still say that the lack of ironaoghts is quite jarring in this game. It really hasnt aged well. In order to still appreciate this old aiming mechanic of using hip fire only, I'd have to stop playing other gamez like BF3 and forget entirely my history with other games that utilize ironsights. Ironights =/= COD or ease of play (especially when there is no aim assist), it simply means another layer of aim. However, old CS vets wanted CS on ps3 to stay the same for some reason. I can't underatand that, because if they were such big fans of CS even to this day, then they'd be playing it FREE on steam/pc instead of playing an un-evolved duplicate on ps3 (since the pc community is larger, FREE, and works on just about any pc: and has always been that way).
However, let us reason:
I dont think ironsights makes FPS games any easier, its just an added layer to the aim mechanics. Imagine playing battlefield 3 and only using hipfire (no matter how far the enemy was) and tell me that that wouldnt be redundant....
I tried the trial version of CS last night (ps plus full game trial) and really tried to love it, but it really is quite dated (whether the lack of ironsights bothers you or not). It really wasnt all that fun anymore.
Im looking forward to the new Rainbow Six for my hardcore old-schoolish fps tactical gaming fix
2. Im working tonight and wont be able to play the game.
3. Why shouldnt i be interested to see what other gamers think about a game Im purchasing?
I think @constipatedgorilla is saying since you bought it via PSN that there is no refund so regardless of good score or not you are stuck with it. While he has a valid point I feel that he went about it in a irrational way that was unnecessary. I for one have it for PC and can say that if you enjoyed the 1.6 days then you will enjoy this. It plays nothing like CS: Source.
i just wanted something to read at work while i looked forward to playing the game when i got home.
I dont understand why thats a problem with anyone. I know I cant get a refund, I dont want a refund. Had you read my post I was just curious about other gamers opinions and my download was not done yet.
its an ok experience, but its worth buying a keyboard and mouse for. the dualshock does it no justice.
I didn't enjoy it.
Played the PC version: much better.
I aint saying you guys will hate it, but it just felt very horrible on the PS3 at the time (that was 11 months ago though). Here's hoping it's been improved.
Just remember , everyone runs faster with a knife.

CS has always been a combination of strategy, position and most important of all, is how well you know the guns. I remember back in the old cs days i would practice how the shots are fired and where to aim to get those head shots. people have gotten sooo good that that half a second or whatever it takes you to look at iron sight is all it takes for you to get killed, no your health doesnt regenerate and you die quick. You will value your life in this game, and you will learn to play smart in this game.
