Remember Me “stays away from generic violence”

In an interview with The Metro, Jean-Maxime Moris stated that in the entirety of Remember Me, only one person is killed at the hands of the protagonist Nilin, and that person is in a man in the demo.

Remember Me, announced at gamescom 2012, is Capcom’s foray into a Neo-Parisian cyberpunk action-adventure where the primary weapon is the ability to destroy and replace memories. (Industry, PC, PS3, Remember Me, Xbox 360)

You could have fooled me, Capcom. The demo I saw presented generic chase sequences and hand-to-hand combat. If anything, this game is continuing the trend of pointless violence in games.
