Discovering the PlayStation Vita

PS3 Attitude: "A couple of months ago, I wrote about how I was perfectly happy with my trusty PSP, while I waited until I could afford a Vita. what? not even one comment? dude you need to talk about lackluster sales or how unhappy you are with the game selection and you will see this article explode with little kids hating on the system but dont say obvious stuff like the system has got way more support than the ps3 ever did in the first 6 months because no one is gonna comment on this article or how satisfied you are with the game selection because they dont like that, anyways you should try Sound Shapes is really an awesome game. i like how you write and your experience if you want you can add me on psn, i like to be around positive people.

How is it with music playback? Does it finally have basic fetures like crossfade, custom playlists (not how they did it with media go on.the psp), can.you get ear buds with a remote to skip or fast forward tracks?

If you have a smartphone then just pass this system up. No need to waste your $$$ on this thing. Yea it's fun for the first few days then after that you realize "why the hell did i buy this"?

Don't listen to this guy. I have a smartphone and a Vita. I use my Vita for playing games. My smartphone, I really only use for Minecraft, Facebook, and texting.

The Vita is a phenomenal system and yes, there ARE good games on it. Uncharted, Katamari, Wipeout, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom, MLB 12: The Show, Gravity Rush, Sound Shapes, Motorstorm: RC, MGS HD Collection, and Puddle are my favorites, so far.

@MySwordIsHeavenly Don't forget Tales from Space, Rayman Origins, Lumines, Super Stardust Delta, Escape Plan, hundreds of great PSP games, hundreds of PS1 classics coming up in a week, and several superb-looking games releasing in the holidays!

I can't remember the last time I was this happy with a gaming purchase.

The Vita is great with music playback, the sound quality is great, and coupled with high quality headphones/buds its even better... There is no crossfade, yet... Apparently, tthere is an upcoming system update that will grant users to make custom playlist... As for a remote, I dont know of any that is compatible with the Vita, yet... But you can connect a bluetooth head set with it and listen to your music that way...

I own a smart phone a pretty goood one, and I can tell you this... I need that second analog stick... I dare you to come up with a theoritical button setup for gravity rush for any smart phone without the idea being a complete fail... I dare ya!
And oh that 5" Oled screen is frecking perfect the colors, the response time, contrast, refresh rate, multi touch, etc..

I'd say if your thinking about getting one, your better off holding out until this holiday season, if not then there are plenty good vita games now, and even a good log of psp and soon to be ps1 titles that'll hold you until then...

It was really nice to read this to me because I am counting 7 more looooong days and my day to buy vita will come, I can't wait to have it in my arms, starting plan is the same, uncharted golden abbys already downloaded and waiting on my ps3 hdd hehehe :D

I have a question for vita owners, is it possible to share vita games bought on playstation store?
I have ps3 acc from my frend and on that acc there is 5-6 games that he purchased, i have download them on my ps3 but will they work when i put them on my ps vita?
