I feel like I've got some real beef with NetherRealm and the old Midway MK team for their games in general, but I'm very optimistic about Injustice. Like the guys in the article say, though, balance is SO important in a fighting game, and feeling like any character is a viable option to be competitive makes a fighter playable or not. Also, I want it to play smoothly. That's why I've been a Street Fighter fan for such a long time, and never got on board with MK, Soul Calibur, etc.

Although balance is a HUGE plus...

it would take a truely skilled player to play as the "worse" character and still own the "uber powerful" character...

I feel an over powered character kinda does cheapen the expierence... but it makes me as a player/gamer want to get good enough to where those characters start to become easier to handle?

I just hope that even the most overpowered has a weakness that would give other people some chances.

sonya blade.....somebody who is good with her can own literally anybody in mk9. its bs

i've learned that it all depends on play-style. play a certain way, and [insert character] will have a harder time setting up combos. as with all fighter games i guess.

If you want a smooth fighter, try MK9. its also incredibly balanced. Got that game on release day and have played nearly everyday since, and im STILL learning new combos with characters i thought i'd "mastered"!
